Learn about how having access to the water and managing a sailboat can improve your health mentally and physically. We cover all essential aspects of sailing: where to go, what to wear, and what to expect. Discussion will touch upon our absence in sailing, despite a deep maritime history, and how that's changing in the modern world. By the end of the course, participants will know safety protocols, navigation, basic handling of the sailboat, and enough knowledge to pass the American Sailing 101 Certification written exam.
